Sealand College of Heraldry
Since the 21st October 2014 The Sealandic College of Heraldry has provided those affiliated with the micro-nation of Sealand the opportunity to obtain armorial bearings. The current Principal Heraldic Artist is Leanna McAlpine and Officer of Arms, Anthony Smith. Each coat of arms is registered with the Sealand College of Heraldry and approved by the Director of the Sealand College of Heralds, Prince James of Sealand.

Sealand Heraldry is perhaps one of the worlds smallest private groups of armigers and this page intends to operate as a discreet public register for Sealandic heraldry. If you have a grant of arms and you would like to add it to this private register please feel free to request addition to this site. You will note that each armiger carries two mottos, a personal motto & that of the Principality of Sealand 'E Mare Libertas' (From the Sea Freedom). Within Sealandic Heraldry Supporters are permitted and these do not necessarily indicate nobility status. However titles are available! Membership to the Sealandic peerage on a commercial basis is closely modelled on the English baronetage titles issued by King James I in 1611.

ReplyDeleteThank you Lord Marco. I felt a register was necessary to show that the micronation of Sealand does take it's heraldry seriously. ☺

ReplyDeleteDear Sir Reginald Periwinkle,
ReplyDeleteOn April 23, I ordered my personalised Coat of Arms.
I have no news FIVE months after my order.
I asked several times information from the Principality
The last answer of Leanna McAlpine (I have an answer, half the time!) was :
Hi Baron Jean-Louis,
My apologies that there has been further delay in your order.
This order was completed in around the time we last spoke (mid-July) so we are looking into what has happened.
Thank you for your patience.
Kind Regards,
Leanna
After 5 months I lose patience and I begin to doubt the seriousness of an institution like the heraldry College Sealand.
Can you Sir Reginald Periwinkle help me ?
Best regards,
Lord LEFLOT Jean-Louis, Baron of Sealand
Dear Sir Reginald Periwinkle,
ReplyDeleteI confirm having received my "Coat of Arms". Can you include this in your register

ReplyDeleteSir Reginald Periwinkel, I find your project to have initiated a register of the heraldry of Sealand very interesting, but regrettable that it is stopped after the first 9 cases. Do not you envisage (or other promoters of Sealand) a complete register?
